Die Bar für Bären und Bärenfreunde im Prenzlauer Berg, Treffpunkt der schwulen Szene. Es ist eine kleine gemütliche Bar, wo "Mann" sich trifft und sich kennen lernen kann. Wir legen sehr viel Wert auf Gemütlichkeit!!!
(In der Regel sind die Bären gemütliche Wesen ;-).
Wir achten darauf, dass die Musik nicht zu laut ist, damit "Mann" sich noch in Ruhe unterhalten kann.
Es macht ja keinen Spaß, wenn "Mann" sich gegenseitig anbrüllen muss, um Kontakte zu schließen (und das wollen wir ja fast alle, oder?).
Die Musik ist gemischt ... Oldies, Deutsche Schlager und internationale Songs der 70er, 80er und 90er bis heute. Das Publikum ist sehr gemischt, jünger bis älter, dünn bis mollig. Hier steht nicht im Vordergrund was du an hast sondern wer du bist. Mann kommt sehr schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch.
Je nach Stimmung wird auch mal getanzt oder gesungen.
Kurz reinschauen kann sehr lang werden.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

A must for bears and bear lovers alike since October 1999!
The “bear cave” is the bar for bears and bear friends in Prenzlauer Berg, meeting place of the gay scene. It’s a small cozy bar, where men can both meet and get to know each other. Coziness is our utmost priority!!!
(Bears are usually cozy by nature; -).
We make sure the music isn’t too loud, so you can enjoy yourself and have a nice chat.
It isn’t any fun if you have to roar at someone to make contact (and that’s what nearly all of us want, isn’t it?).
The music is mixed… Oldies, German hits and international songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s right up to today. The clientele is very mixed, young and old, thin and chubby. The main thing here isn’t what you wear, but who you are. You’re likely to strike up a conversation with the other guests in no time.
Depending on the vibe, dancing or singing could also be on the agenda.
Simply dropping by can sometimes take a long time indeed.
The personnel are very friendly, courteous and attentive.
